· On Wednesday September 26, 1990 I was invited to participate in a panel discussion organized by the International Students Association and the Political Science Club, regarding the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and the political/economic roots of the problem.
· On September 21, 1990 I was interviewed by the KINK FM radio regarding the problems in the Middle East and the economics and the politics of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
· On September 21, 1989 I presented the results of the Portland CMSA Econometric Model to the Council of Executives of the School of Business Administration.
· On June 5, 1989 I was interviewed by the Daily Journal of Commerce regarding the investment by Taiwanese banks in Oregon, and its underlying reasons and ramifications. This interview was going to be used for an article in the journal.
· I have developed and maintained the econometric model of Portland-Vancouver Consolidated Metropolitan Statistical Area (CMSA). This is a major project which could lead to the establishment of a Center for Business and Economic Research and Information (CBER) at the School of Business. The center could add a new dimension to the visibility of the School of Business and the University of Portland.
· On October 28th, 1987 I was interviewed by the Willamette Week regarding the events in the world financial markets and the impact of these events on the local economy.
· I was interviewed by the KGW-TV Channel 8 on October 19th, 1987 regarding the major "correction" in the stock market and its national and international short and long term impacts.
· I spoke to the League of Women Voters at the Portland State University on the "Impact of Various Proposed Changes in the Taxes on the Economy,” January 8, 1985.
· Mediated a panel discussion on the Middle East Crisis held at the University of Portland, Fall 1982.
